March is easily the most astrologically eventful month of 2025. It’s something I’ve been aware of for quite some time because it also happens to be my birthday month — not to mention I have a shit-ton of planet in Aries, where the majority of this month’s astrology will be taking place. Between a Mercury and Venus retrograde, two eclipses, and Neptune changing signs all around the time I turn 29, I figured I’d probably be experiencing some life-changing events right about now, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t see them slowly starting to rear their heads. And yet, even if you don’t have a birthday this month, you can still expect *something* in your life to change pretty drastically in the next thirty-one days. It may be a small thing that changes a lot, or a big thing that does — either way, you’ll be exiting this month a different person than how you started it.
Before we dive into the nitty gritty moments of March’s astrology, I’d love to offer a little disclaimer. First and foremost, do notttt let the TikTok astrologers scare you into thinking the world is ending. It isn’t. It is, however, going to be a very loud and volatile month. The month kicks off with Venus stationing retrograde in Aries on March 1, then Mercury enters Aries by March 3, where it will station retrograde by March 15. On March 14, the first eclipse of 2025 will take place in Virgo, followed by another eclipse in Aries by March 29. Both Mercury and Venus will start the month in fiery Aries, but end the month back in watery Pisces, prompting a major vibe shift as we head into April.
