The Seventh House Secret: Decoding Your Long-Term Partner in Astrology
My new e-book has a *very* interesting backstory.
So, I got into my first social media beef with a TikTok astrologer back in April.
The creator made a video claiming that you can find your “soulmate” in astrology by simply looking at the house and sign Venus is in in your birth chart… just loud and wrong. When the video came across my FYP, I stitched the video, correcting her without hesitation (I am an Aries, through and through). My stitched video now has 1 million views. In the 58 second video, I briefly went into detail about why the initial creator’s take was inaccurate, and how to actually identify the planet that represents your spouse or long-term partner in your birth chart. For most people (unless you are an Aries or Scorpio rising), Venus does not represent your “soul-mate”. It’s actually the planet that rules your seventh house.
The original creator’s take is not unpopular. Many people (especially on TikTok) deem Venus to rule over romantic partners for all, and they rarely consider any other indicators in a chart that say otherwise. Not only is this an extremely watered down take, but it’s an inaccurate one. This isn’t to say that Venus shouldn’t be considered at all, but the seventh house, in addition to its ruler, will always add WAY more context to the nature of someone’s romantic partner(s), as well as the re-occurring themes that arise in one’s love life. This kind of technique isn’t one that can be fully explained in a TikTok video, so I decided to make an e-book dedicated to the topic.
In The Seventh House Secret: Decoding Your Long-Term Partner, I identify the planet that rules your seventh house, based on your rising sign. I use the Whole Sign house system for my descriptions (the house system I also use in consultations), because to me, it is the most accurate and easiest to understand. I also added a planetary description of the seventh house ruler for each of the twelve rising signs, as well as a description of your seventh house ruler through each of the houses. There’s also a section touching on what it means to have one or more of the ten planets placed in your seventh house. And, even still, there is so much more that goes into interpreting just this one area of your birth chart. While I decided to end the e-book there (at 25 pages long, I didn’t want it too be too lengthy), an entire book could be written about this topic alone. But for now, hopefully this can offer a deeper understanding of your romantic relationships that goes beyond just the sign and house your Venus is in.
Astrology is a very complex study. And it gets watered down a lot, especially on social media. I aspire to make it easy to understand, without completely disregarding the traditional techniques that make it so insightful, and most importantly, accurate! So this is my little gift to those of you that want more information on this area of your life. It is available to purchase for $11.11 USD. If you do end up getting it, please let me know your thoughts! Was it easy to understand? Is there anything I need to add? Were you able to locate the ruler of your seventh house + the sign/house its placed in with ease? I really hope so — but if not, please send me a message or leave a comment down below, and I’ll be happy to help you make sense of it all. Happy studying! ♥️
